This is a rare and exclusive Australian release – the first-ever Kavalan Solist Peated Single Malt officially launched in the country. Drawn from a single cask (R150414033A), only 144 bottles were produced. A sister cask (032A) was also imported under similar acclaim, but whichever arrived first, this expression marks a milestone for Kavalan in Australia.

Crafted using peated barley at a restrained 10PPM, the result is a beautifully balanced whisky where Kavalan's signature tropical richness shines through. The peat doesn't dominate but enhances the experience – amplifying the vibrant spice profile and rounding out the finish with subtle notes of fruitcake.

While it may not reach the complexity or enduring finish of classic Islay malts, fans of Highland peated whiskies such as Ardmore or young BenRiach will find much to appreciate in this bold and flavourful Solist release.
