Crafted in Taiwan’s first whisky distillery, Kavalan Solist Port Cask is a bold and luxurious single malt matured exclusively in Portuguese Port barriques. Thanks to Taiwan’s unique subtropical climate and the pure spring water from the Syue-shan mountain range, this whisky matures rapidly and intensely, developing a rich, multi-layered profile.

The influence of the Port casks adds luscious depth, with waves of dark fruits—plum, blackberry, blueberry, and strawberry—enveloped in a backdrop of dark chocolate and subtle citrus. Bottled at natural cask strength, it delivers powerful flavour and complexity for the discerning palate.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Mandarin peel, dried dark fruits, delicate wood spice, dark chocolate, and a hint of grapefruit.
Palate: Chocolate tart, blackcurrants, strawberries, and blueberries, layered with vanilla and subtle citrus zest.
Finish: Long and warming with notes of tropical fruits, citrus, and gentle spice.
